Hello! I've been scamming hard here the last several months. I built an AR for, (with), my brother about 5 years ago and finally went after my own. Just finished up a few weeks ago and I've got another lower that's just not willing to sit there so another one in the works.
Haven't shot more than 25 rounds yet and first 20 was just getting gas block adjusted/roughing in the scope, (truck hood rest....), and enjoying the fact the She Lived! Five from a rest were OK but I really need everyone to calm the f&$* down on the powder and bullets so I can restock the meager 6.5 stash and actually shoot it and have some left to load again! Hope you all like it. And that ain't to say there's anything wrong with store bought - if you're running something like a 12.5 Triarc or a DD Mk18 and all you did was slap an Aimpoint PRO and a sling on it, while it's not really a build persay it's an outstanding fighting carbine to be proud in and happy with. |

This one is going to be on the opposite end of the spectrum from recoiljunky's full-tilt boogie hardware. It's my second AR and my first "build". I assembled it from a pedestrian Anderson AM15 lower and a PSA rifle kit. My add-ons to the PSA package are the Magpul MBUS rear sight, the ASAP ambidextrous sling mount, the MS3 GEN2 sling, and a 20-round PMAG. I like 20-round mags because I think it's plenty of capacity, weighs less, doesn't stick out below the pistol grip, and makes the gun look and act well-balanced.

But anything below a 16 inch rifle with a rifle stock is all automatically an SBR in either the legal way with a stamp or an illegal way without a stamp. But if it's under 16 and has a brace, then it's a pistol. If you get caught with a short barrel that has no brace and no stamp, then no matter what anyone says, what actually matters is what you would be charged with: possession of an illegal SBR. |

The green & black one is a PSA 5.56 upper build kit with a black Aero upper, and the lower was built out with a stripped OD Aero lower and a CMMG LPK.
- OD Cerakoted Dustcover, Forward Assist, and Castle Nut - VLTOR HK Loop-style Endplate - For the life of me, I can't remember which brand this sling is right now.....but I love it. Not quite as much as my VTAC, but I think it was about half the price. - Magpul OD Rear BUIS - Magpul OD Angled Foregrip - Magpul OD MOE Furniture - Steamlight ProTac w/ Remote Pressure Switch - Vortex Spitfire 3x w/ EBR-556B The black one is a fully custom pistol build chambered in .300blk. Parts list in previous post.  |
