I just put a CAA Collapsible Butt Stock on my Spikes ST22 lower build. Can you store it collapsed without injuring the buffer spring?

The tube ends at the shortest position.  Changing the stock length does not change the spring compression.  Remove the sliding part of the stock and you'll see.  To remove it, pull UP on the adjustment lever and slide it off.  See?

Collapsing or extending the stock does not affect the buffer spring at all.
