Well my first short barrel rifle, indeed my first AR came out nicely. You can see it was born almost 7 months ago! In that time I've shot it a lot and really enjoy it.
Most of the details are in the pics. I think I found just the right combination between tacticool and practical. Click any image for a larger version. Enjoy!

I have that free float tube on my 3-Gun carbine and I really like it a lot.

Does the Tango Down VFG have much play in it or does it lock up pretty tight?

It's pretty tight, but not perfect. I performed a mod to get it even tighter.

Bump to celebrate it's 1 year birthday! I have about 2k rounds through it, about 1/2 .223 and 1/2 .22LR. It shoots like a dream and if one of my favorite weapons.
