I just finished building my new AR, its my first ground-up build. The most amazing part (to me) is I only used a 3.5" el-cheapo vise from Harbor Freight, a hammer, DPMS mulit-tool, and a wooden dowel. I used the wooden dowel in place of punches, although it probally tool longer than if I had punches, it worked out fine for me. Thanks to all the guys in the EE whe helped me build this

I'll post photos tomorrw when I get home

Eagle Arms Lower
CMT A3 Upper
CMT Bolt & Carrier
CMT Charging handle
Colt Delta Ring
Colt Gas Tube
Stag buttstock
Stag lower parts kit
Knights RAS
CMMG MOD4 SOCOM Barrel
J+T Detachable Carry Handle

I took the photo 2 minutes after I finished the build, so pardon the fingerprints and grease on the barrel nut

Harbor Freight is a good place. I got a work bench table, a vise, and a stool for under $150.
Look around, I also got a 8pc punch set there for about $5. They also have a 12" torque wrench the for $11

Looks good, My next build will be similar it will be for my GF she doesn't like my heavy 20" & 24"
bbl. Rifles they are too heavy for her, I can see that a lighter weight carbine would come in handy, and are probably pretty fun to shoot.
