Is there a torque spec?  I installed with an allen wrench, using the short portion to tighen with.  I snugged it up pretty good, is that enough?

if it dosen't wobble or shoot loose it should be good. I use the allen bits on a screw driver handle and I just snug it. The lock washer should do it's job.

You need to have no mechanical sense to strip it. If you do strip it it can be fixed with a helicoil.
