Can I fire the 5.56N ammo (reliably, in other words, was it meant for 5.56) from their RKT-100 16" M4 Rifle Kit?  Are their uppers and lowers made by them or from someone else, if so, who?

If the barrel is marked 5.56, .223 and 5.56 is good. If it's marked .223, only use .223-marked ammo.

You can use practically any lower. Stag, Ameetec, Superior Arms(you're in Iowa, after all), RRA, Mega, Bushmaster, etc. Just stay away from anything marked Vulcan/Hesse for the lower and you'll be good to go.
