Is there a difference in quality between model 1, J&T, and M&A?  They all seem to be the same price the J&T is like 35 dollars more for the 16“ C.A.R kit.  If anyone has any input about the quality of the kits or warranties please let me know.  thanks

Having assembled and shot several results of both companies you mentioned, and several others..... I'm more than content to spend a few extra bucks to go w/ J&T.  Consistant HIGH quality and superb customer service means a lot.

buy from J&T, there are more horror stories with Model 1 than hair under my armpit.

I like J&T as well.  The 2 I got from them are perfect.  When ou talk about lowers, check the Stag ones from Eagefirearms.net.  They are $85.  I think I am going to get one for my next build.  J&T Varmit rifle.

well its ordered.  I went with the J&T 16C.A.R kit pre ban with the collapsable stock and the all those goodies.  For the lower I spent the extra 20 dollars and went with the eagle arms stripped lower from tripple break products...J&T is getting ready for a show so it is going to be next week before i get the riffle.  No i just get to sit and wait.
thanks again to everyone who gave their advice.

In my experience:

Best in budget class=M&A Parts
Best in mid-line class=RRA thru ADCO
Best of the Best= I'll let you all argue that one out, I'll stick with RRA.

So what is the dfference between low and mid. Model1 and RRA??? That is what I really want to know. I have seen and handled RR products. I have never seen a Model1 or other low priced AR.

To be honest, I only saw slightly better cosmetic improvement with my RRA versus my M&A parts kit. Performance of the 2 was a dead even. An interesting note: the handguards on my M&A kit were marked "RRA."

Here is a link to some close up pictures of the Model 1 M4 kit I received last week. It is mounted on a RRA lower. The pictures were taken late in the day so some pictures are a little dark.

I'm real happy with my J&T kit.

FN contract upper, A-2 grip, carrier assembly, buttstock assembly and charging handle. --Colt fire control, delta ring, gas tube, and buffer. --Shaw 1x9 twist, chrome moly match Hbar.
