I'm going to build with a 16" barrel, but I'm not sure which twist rate to look at.  This rifle will be used for work and just having fun.  So please someone teach me about twist rates.

Allways use a 1:7 twist unless you are going to be shooting specialty varmint rounds (under 55gr)

For mil-surp ammo & match use (although a 16" bbl DQs you from that, 20" A2 (or A4 with handle, if you're nutz) only), 1:7 is it...
