I am thinking of using JP's free float tube and gas block. Anybody use these or have direct experience with someone who has. I am looking for feedback. Thanks 2200v

I have the JP float tube on both of my match rifles.  Very well built, down to the O-ring for indexing the tube.  Don't have the adjustable gas block, but for most application, it will slow down the action if used with a 20" rifle and standard Mil-Spec bolt/carrier, you might not like it.  Most shooters just leave the port wide open for faster cycling, so the adjustability isn't worth the $.

I have built one rifle using the JP floating handguard.  Really nice machine work and combination matte and glossy anodizing is interesting touch.  See below......
