Do all 9mm Magwell require pins in the lower receiver, or has anyone had any success without having to put holes in their receiver?

Thanks, MHG

Perhaps the single one good thing ASA did was their drop in from the top 9mm mag well.  Check it out.

TopCrest - Thanks for taking my newbie question. do you know if the ASA block will work with an all colt 9mm upper?

The ASA is patterned for the "Colt" system, and cloned by ASA, RRA, custom barrel makers, as it is the simplest sytem to copy, cut the end to fit the upper, chamber it and go, the contour forward of the barrel nut is optional.

You can get the HY-TECH mag block,

It is a block that is held in by the factory mag release.
It sticks out of the bottom of the magwell by a couple inches according to the pics, mine has not showed up yet so I can't say for sure.

It uses factory UZI mags.  Check under the pistol caliber forum under the ar discussions.
