Birchwood and casey Alumablack works great for me its kinda like a dye ....Comes in a little blue bottle and its clear liquid apply it with a q tip .... its not some of those crappy paints..... im more than pleased with it ...

What you want is some cold blue.
AlumaBlack is for blackening aluminum. |

In order of easy:
1) F^ck that, just go shoot. 2) Sharpy black magic marker 3) Rustoleum high temp black spraypaint. (exact match to my RRA) 4) Cold Blue You asked for the easiest! Pete |

Whats the best method for touching up scratches in the upper and lower receiver?
Cold blue will only work on Steel correct? |

Cold Blue works surprisingly well touching up parkerized finishs. If you reinstall new pins and touch up with cold blue it will probably look like new.
