How much should I pay for a Bushmaster or Colt lower receiver? Does anybody recommend a better one? I was told by Compass lake engineering that they start with the Bushmaster lowers because they are milspec. Thanks

Bushmaster lowers (stripped) should run you about $150.  I can't recall seeing stripped Colt lowers.

For a complete Bushy lower I'd expect to pay around $260 and for a complete Colt about $375.
