Seems like a lot. Lots of quality flat top uppers can be had for under $100. Check the EE...

If you have to have a new Colt upper, that is a decent price. I would go with CMT and enjoy Colts quality at half the price.

I would get it through www.rainierarms.com/ simply because of his prices and level of service. You can't order direct from the factory as far as I know. |

my cost at Brownells is $145.00 on that Colt upper.

I get the same discount, and it doesn't change the CMT is under $100....
His Bushmaster barrel probably doesn't have the enhanced feedramps, which I think all of the current Colt flattops do, which wouldn't be a nice combination for him. |
