I'm looking for a light for my sbr. Mainly for hunting and shtf. I like the looks of the WMLX 700lumen model. How is the durability of these lights compared to Surefires offerings. On paper they seem like a solid buy considering the IR capability. Yes I know the shortcomings of the original wml lights. Thanks in advance.

Too new to tell. They changed the material so i assume they fixed the problems.

The Inforce WML lights (no experience with the XL series) seem pretty dang robust by reviews. Dang good lights, not overly powered (unlike the ridiculous lumen war that's going on), and are simple in operation. GTG (for Gen2... the Gen1 had issues with bodies cracking from non reinforced bezels. Solved with G2).
