Anyone has any idea where I can either purchase or have custom maded housing for my IR laser diode pointer? Housing which one can insert or have install into a housing)

It's an OEM unit w/ bare wire leads, dimensions = 1.5" Length x 0.5" diameter of body and 4.5" wire leads. Has threads on adjustable IR lens (width of point).

Spec required for housing accomodation:

Wavelength: 980nm IR
Power output: 36mW
Power source: 3V (either CR123 or (2) AA batteries
Beam focus, adjustable: adjustable for windage and elevation, point
Operation of housing switch: constant on/off, pressure-pad operated, pulse (optional)
Mount: picantinny rail mount or ring-mounted w/ picantinny rail mount.

Must be weatherproof/waterproof and shock-proof to rifle (at least .308) or pistol recoil (at least .45acp)

Appreciate any help...thnx.

I do work with lasers some, and 36 milliwatts, infrared, no blink reflex...

It has the potential to do a lot of (eye) damage, either to your target (which might not care) or to anyone who catches a reflected ray.

I'm not criticizing, I'm warning.  The danger is real, the damage can be instantaneous, and it cannot ever be fixed.
