My Surefire 9N needs a new battery as well as a new head (both bulbs burned out).

I want to use standard 123A batteries in the light and noticed that the 123A batteries will fit inside a 3/4 inch PVC pipe and that the PVC pipe will fit inside the 9N body.  I also have a short piece of aluminum rod that is the same length and diameter (with tape wrapped around it for insulation) as a 123A battery.

All of this means that the 9N battery could be replaced with 3 123A's and a spacer wihtin the PVC.

Unfortunately, 3 123A batteries will burn out the bulbs in the standard 9N head (ask me how I know).

My question is, does anyone know of a head (preferably LED) that will fit on the 9N body and run on 6, 9, or  even 12 volts (6V would use a longer spacer and the body will fit 4 123A's without the spacer)?

BTW, I never liked the rechargable battery and that is mainly what I want to get away from.

TIA
