Has anyone had experience w/ either or perhaps both? I understand several of the differences between the 2, but am primarily looking for the one that has the lowest profile possible. I appreciate any feedback and am interested in hearing the advantages or disadvantages of either.

I really like my KAC...simple and rugged and good price.  The only disadvantage I can think of is the lack of QD, which may not be a disadvantage to some.

Thanks.... That's pretty much my train of thought too. QD is not a necessity and the price is right, as the saying goes. I think that for the functionality that I'm looking for, the KAC will be fine. I just wanted to get some opinions on both before buy.

the ARMS is really low profile. It has the QD feature.
