I just bought a IDF sling and plan on using it mostly for Drills (National Guard). My unit only has the A2's, so what is the best way of attaching it to the rear stock but yet let it carry at the ready.

Ranger, get some para cord and tie a little loop in the middle.  Next, wrap it around the rear of the stock with the loop at the top.  When you go under the stock, run it through the standard sling loop to keep the cord in place.  I tied mine off at the bottom.  The hook on your sling will snap right into the loop.

Thanks that will work. never thought of look there. I knew it was not hard, I was looking for someone who had done it a which method worked.
