Any of them besides the factory provided one.

Loving the BAD.

.78 of an oz.

I don't need QD for a red dot.

If you want QD though American Defense is the way to go.

I respectfully disagree. I don't need QD or the very minor weight savings of the more expensive aftermarket offerings so all my MRO's have the factory 1/3 mount.

Geissele, LaRue, Bobro

Nothing else to consider, IMO

Wasn't a matter of QD for me. I just wasn't impressed with the actual screws on the factory mount. 2 of us managed to strip them out and I'm usually pretty good about not gorilla ing screws too tight.

Geissele non qd rock solid bomb proof
Scalara  qd light weight
Bobro.     qd heaviest, bombproof, bulkiest
BAD.        non qd light weight

My favorite is the Geissele.

Anyone have experience with the Kinetic Sidelok?

I really like my Bobro.  Little heavy, but solid as hell.  Great return to zero.

I'll add the KDG Sidelok mount. Fantastic mount so far. Has been removed several times and RTZs every time. If LaRue had theirs out before I got this one though I probably would have got it. The KDG is relatively heavy compared to other options but I'm not going for a lightweight build so it's doesn't bother me.

I don't have comparison data to say "best", but I do like the Scalarworks mount because it's lightweight.  I find the pseudo-QD mechanism works well and gives a solid mount.

I say "pseudo-QD" because it's not exactly quick, more like reasonably fast disconnect.

QD comes in handy at times, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
It's nice to have a magnified optic for some occasions ... pulling the red dot off and dropping a pre-sighted-in scope on takes seconds.

This is really part of the reason I got the Larue mount for my MRO. That and I knew it would be a great quality solid mount.

I'm curious to try the Sidelok to see how it works.  I recently ordered a combo with the mount and the MRO.  Good to see positive experiences with it.  If I don't like it I will probably go back to LaRue or Scalar.
