Larue with the VFZ mounts its still repeatable if removed but no QD levers and usually 45-50 less in $$

Heres a pic of my mount recently aquired you can see the nuts that tighten the legs for mounting

Go with the Larue for sure. I have The Nikion 5x20x44 BDC on my AR-10 and my AR-15. and on my 300win mag. Both with LaRue mounts. My opinion its the only way to go. By the way you will love that scope. Brings in lots of light also.

You won't need extra moa for 400.  That's for 1000+ usually, or really limited scopes.

I use the LT 139 mount for both of my 5x20x44 BDC Nikon scopes. Which are mounted on an Armalite AR-15 and an AR-10. The LT 139 pushes the scope forward to compensate for the eye relief.Plus puts it just forward of the charging handle.

Check out the Rock River scope mount. Not QD, robust, mounts easy. $50.00. I was skepticle about the quality because of the price, turns out it is a very nice scope mount. I am getting another.

I have the RR one..They are very solid for sure but are pretty darn heavy in my opinion..If you do not care about weight they are a very good mount.....The weight does not bother me..
