Cheapest would probably be magpul.If you can be happy with polymer sights.

Spend the money and get the Troy BUIS. Averaged over the 50-100 year lifespan of the sights they are cheap.

For a gun with no optics, the MBUS is a horrible choice.
It's great for a backup to optics, but it wouldn't be my primary aiming device. |

YHM Troy Troy is by far the best, Magpul is the cheapest, YHM is a good choice that is often overlooked, but I'd rather have one of the other two. |

I'd go Troy (or one of their re-branded versions from several vendors) for rugged flip-up BUIS if it's going to be used as a primary sight. It locks positively in the deployed position, so recoil and bumping/jarring won't theoretically affect it as much as a spring-held version.
If no optic and no need for flip-ups in the forseeable future, LaRue makes a simple fixed sight. I have an LMT fixed BUIS on my irons-only midlength, and it does the job as well as you'd expect a chopped A2 carry handle variant to do. (i.e. very well) |
