Anybody have any experience with this scope?  I want something decent for my 18" SPR without breaking the bank, I was hoping to spend no more than $400.  I have heard good things about Nikon scopes.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.  I will be using a LaRue LT-104 mount.

Also, what's the differences between the Nikoplex, BDC, and mildot reticles?

Depending on what you are looking for exactly, I have been pretty pleased with my Millett TRS in a Larue SPR mount.  I was also looking at the Super Sniper 10x, but liked the illuminated reticle and variable power of the Millett.  Of course there are better scopes out there, but for the price and features it is hard to beat.  Just my .02.

I would look at the Leupold Mark AR scopes.

I was thinking about those too actually.  How does the BDC dial that is designed for 55gr bullets work with the heavier 69+ gr bullets that I plan to shoot with this rifle?

It won't. BDC reticles are super if they're individually tuned to your gun and ammo. Since these aren't, being close is about all you can hope for. I would be impressed if it's pretty close with 55 gr. bullets, much less any other weight.

Captain -
I have a Millet TRS-1 on my SPR and have had no issues with it other than it is a long and heavy scope. I think 16" and about 3+ lbs.

I have a 200 yd zero with M855 ammo. It has held the Zero after a lot of shooting (i think its the mount) but for the price IMHO I don't think you can go wrong.

Call Leupold holmes and tell them you need a 69 grain bdc dial.  They'll send you one for approx $59.00.  I called the factory and discussed that with them a few months ago.

I was seriously considering this scope but went with the Falcon Menace instead.

And it appears from your photos not to have clearance issues with MBUS using LaRue LT-104 mount, or is that the LT-135?  Is the TRS-1 pictured the fixed or variable magnification?

The mount is LT-104 (SPR-1.5), The Scope is a Millett BK81001 (4-16x 50mm), Standard MBUS.
