I tried a Troy BUIS behind my 516 and could barely see the front sight or ghost ring.  I know they raised the units 7mm to get them up where they should be(lower 1/3 co-witness), but the Troy is in the bottom of the glass.  I could barely see it over the Eotech.  Anybody else notice this?

Is the 516 mounted directly to a flat top upper? Is the Troy BUIS mounted to the rear-most slot on the upper?

Yes and yes

Give us your total rifle setup.  Sounds like you have some kind of problem that could be "self inflicted"...

Flatop upper and stock FSB, nothing modified or unusual.  It's like the Troy is too short.

Surely you have it in the up position?
