I have a Leupold Mk4 3.5-10x40 with M3 turrents.  I was trying to get the optic zero'd today and I was having a bit of trouble finding the right allen wrench size for the screws in the turrent.  I got the optic with no wrench.

So, anyone know which it is?  I keep thinking that it is the 1/16 size, but it doesn't seem to grab all that well.  Should I have Leupold send me another one?

Thanks to anyone that can help!

Don't have that exact model––mine is Mk!V 3-9X40mm.  The wrench that was supplied with it measures 0.050" across the flats.  My Machinery Handbook suggests that this is one size smaller than a 1/16 hex.  Hope this helps.

Mine should be the same, then.  Thanks!

Rats.  I don't have that one in any of my sets.  I may give Leupold a call.

Thanks again!

It appears to be a standard English size––an Ace Hardware could probably help you out for a couple of $$.

The wrench that came with my Mark 4 MR/T is a 3/32".

I called Leupold just now.  The set screws are 1/16".  Mine are stripped and that is why it won't grab.
