I think I'm going to build a 16" upper with a mid length gas system and rifle length rail system.  I want to put an eotech on it eventually but in the mean time I need some iron sights on it.  I'm thinking for the front a rail mount fixed sight and something flip up for the rear.  Probably the popular arms or troy model for the rear.  It seems like its hard to go wrong with either of those.  How about the fixed front though?  People dont seem to be talking about those as much.  What would you recommend?

I'm also looking for input on fixed front sights.  I've checked out the POF front on rainier.  Any feedback on that?
