Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - LaRue SPR Scope Mount Clearance Question

I have an ARMS #40A2 BUIS and want to get LaRue SPR scope mount. This will be used with a low power 1-4x20 scope but I am not sure about height clearance with this mount.

So does anyone know if this mount (The standard 1.5" high) will clear the ARMS #40A2? Or should I use the higher LaRue 1.93 mount?

It wont fit, you need a lower rear sight. There's a good number of them that will work however.

I have the standard 1.5" SPR.  The eyepiece of a Leupold 1.5-5 and 3-9x40 will just clear a 40L.  A 40A2 is too high.
