I wish I could tell you more, but I dont own any. So what I can offer is brief. They are priced pretty close to Leupolds, and the view is pretty crisp and clear through the glass. Maybe even more clear than the Leupolds. I'll now deffer to others who may have more experience with them...

I have a Nikon 2.5-10X44 with an illuminated Mildot reticle on my ArmaLite M15A4(T). I absolutely love this scope; it is extremely clear and the resolution is excellent, the controls are well placed and very useful and the entire scope is very solid. I own other Nikons and Leupolds. The Leupolds are excellent also and are comparable to Nikons but I think the Nikon Tactical is in a class of its own, for its price range. I have had occasion to go to the range late in the day and the Nikon was definitely an asset. When others are packing up because it's getting too dark to shoot at 100 yards, I'm still punching paper at 200 yards. Two thumbs up on this one.
