Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How to replace and align front sight

I'm sure this has been covered here, but I can't find it.

I've removed my front sight to install a free floating rail system.
My questions is, how do I put the front sight back on in proper alignment?  Do I just position it on the barrel by useing my best eyesight or is there a certain procedure to align it exactly?
