Is their a need to lap Larue mounts for a AR? My Colt has a heavy 16" barrel.

I believe there was a thread here recently that most if not all said no and Larue said not to do it.

That being said you might contact Larue to verify.

Do not lap LaRue mounts. No need to do it, and LaRue says not to.
