I removed the rear sight/carry handle on my Colt A3 to mount a scope. I was looking at the rear sight for identifying marks. I remember a thread about the differences and have read the FAQ but can't find what I need.
My sight/handle has no markings other than a raised A 5. There are no other marks or stamps. The adjustment is marked 6/3 with other single numbers around the knob.
Is this a Colt rear sight/carry handle?
I seem to remember something, maybe descriptions in the EE forum, but don't remember exactly what I shold look for, or if it's even important.
Thanks,
Jim
