Try to find out about the quality of the glass used for the glasses. I have a pair of frames that I like, so I get lenses changed every year, and it has made a big difference in the clarity.

The only time I notice any difference in the glare is when I drive at night, and that might be from the windshield. What a ripoff.

I have no tints on my glasses and did not get the anti glare rip off.  I have absolutely no problems seeing the red dot.

4 words - cheaper then 3 in this case.

Talk to your doctor.

Most eye doctors can tell you about options you haven't thought about. Explain to him what you need to do and get his advice. Then get a second opinion.

I was afraid to bring it up. Then I found out my guy is a skeet / trap shooter and specialized in shooting lenses.

But for a red dot sight, you should be fine with most anything. Just practice with your glasses on, AND with your glasses off. You may find your head position changes just slightly, and the view may appear different. I have found myself looking throught the aimpoint, and then realized I was actually looking over my nose, and between the lenses of my glasses. A consistent cheek weld can help you solve that problem too.
