What optics to get for fullsized AR

I have a fullsize AR with a flat top upper. I want to put some kind of optics on it but can't deside what. I have narrowed the choices down to eather a 10x40 Bushnell 3200 or an Aimpoint 7000 or 9000. A M2 ML2 would be ok too . Which would you go with? I want to spend less than $400 . I thought about an eotech but did not like the way it looked on a fullsized rifle.

First question is: What is the main purpose of your rifle?

CQB?
Target Comps?
Hunting?
Safe Queen?

Second question is how far are you going to be shooting?

Target and Hunting. Will be shooting out to 3 or 400 yards.

I have the Bushnell 10x40 3200 on a full size Armalite AR10. It is a great scope for $200. I use the EOTech on my AR15 Carbine.

Save up some money and buy an aimpoint or TA31F Acog or RCO. There is no point in buying a porche and putting walmart crap on it. If you are going to buy an expensive rifle you should put quality stuff on it. While you are saving your money learn to use the iron sights. Learning the irons can save your ass when your optic goes down. My choices are based on things I had on my combat rifle when I served.
