I'm looking to get one of these for my new AR10, and would like to run some numbers to see how my chosen load (155 grain AMAX TAP) compares to the BDC lines on the TA11C.  All I can find is that it's a 168 grain bullet.  Does anyone have more precise data? (Velocity, BC, height over bore)?

I asked a fairly similar question, and got the following "official" info:

TA11C Calibration

Sight over bore: 2.815 inches
Bullet: 168gr OTM match, not sure if Sierra or another (e.g. Hornady)
Muzzle velocity: 2680 fps
Altitude/pressure: not sure but assuming sea level

I was kind of curious about the discrepancy myself.  It makes  quite a difference in BDC calculations.  Anyone have a feeling/read on which is more accurate?

Fairly sure that it is caliberated for 168 grain and IIRC it is caliberated for mounting on top of a carry handle.  The TA11E is caliberated for a flattop.
