I have a flattop upper.  I also have a detachable carry handle and a Aimpoint. Since I don't want to chop the handle, and since I rather like gooseneck mounts on A2 uppers, I was thinking about slapping on a gooseneck adapter and mounting the Aimpoint to that.

Any thoughts on that? Any foreseeable height problems (does the A3 w/carry handle sit a bit higher?)

Edit for anyone thinking about doing it: It would be very stupid, since it wouldn't work.

Thanks for the help fellahs.

I can only comment on the Arms "gooseneck mount" in that it won't fit an A3 detachable carry handle.
With the many iron sight & Aimpoint possible combinations, there is certainly no reason to contemplate mounting it to a detachable carry handle anyway.
