Back around 89-91,foregive my memory, but I purchased a Bushnell sportview 3-10.5 45mm scope for hunting, and plinking, well somewhere along the line I mounted the scope on my Remington 870 12ga slug gun, I have put maybe 100 rounds of slugs down the pipe over the years, not to mention the time the gun sat on my 7 mag and the year it was on my FALneither of which I own anymore....fastforward to two weeks ago. I mounted this scope on my slug gun again and on the 7th round everything went fuzzy in the scope, couldnt see nothing out of it, the scope just turned into a paper weight, well I went to the Bushnell website and followed their rules for returning a product with an included letter describing what happened. Now I never expected anything being the scope was close to if not 10 years old, I never heard back from Bushnell besides a post card saying they received the scope and also a work order number. Well I went yesterday to the website and typed in the number and low and behold was informed I had a package inbound with UPS and the item had been repaired I thought great, I get my scope back repaired for just 10 bucks shipping, then when the package arrived I opened it and could you believe the people of Bushnell sent me a brand new scope Yes it was around the same price range, the one I got was a Banner series, the one I had was 3-10.5 45 mm, and the one they sent was a 3x9 40mm, but with a 6"eye relief to be used on shotguns, I guess the good folks at Bushnell are trying to give me a hint I couldnt be happier with the service I got and would just like to give kudos to the folks at Bushnell thanks for helping me!

Good info, thanks for posting.  I would much rather hear "positive" experiences with manufacturers and dealers than the bashing.  Makes me more willing to check out their products knowing they will stand behind them.
