I am interested in options for mounting an Aimpoint on an A2 upper. Cowitness not important.
I recall seeing a picture a "scope rail" attached to the carry handle and a low mount for the Aimpoint attached to the "rail". Would a "standard" scope mount ( 30mm or ??) work with a Aimpoint?
Any comments on this mounting?
Pictures would be great if available.

Thanks in advance for any help.

+1

The 16A keeps the AImpoint about 1/2" lower than the lowest rings you could buy and put on a carry handle scope mount.

If you are putting it on top of the handle, this is the only way to go. IMHO

Thanks for the comments and pictures.

Chuck,
I am interested in your comment regarding the ability to "find the red dot".
This is a picture of a rifle belonging to my shooting buddy Old_Painless with a carry handle mount for an ACOG. I shoot this rifle quite often with no problems. Would the Aimpoint be more difficult to use on the carry handle than the ACOG?
