i have a scope on my carying handle and its just way to high. it hurts my neck when i look through it for a long time. so i was wondering if i could mount a scope on the gun without the handle and will the front sight post be in the way?. i can remove the handle and put a scope there or something.

For most flat-top mounted scopes the front tower is a non-issue as it too close to see, scope looks through it and is not visible.

If you have a decent powered scope the front sight will be, if anything at all, a faint shadow. Works out pretty well.
