Or I should say with one of these ARMS mounts above. Please share any pics if you have them or let me know if this mount sits higher or lower (if you have seen it) than the mount below in this pic

I dont like my optics on top of a carry handle.  Good mount for extreme cases when using a gas mask...but thats about it.

Both of those mounts are ridiculous in my opinion.   The optic is so far off the bore, it's a joke.

At least you could shoot from the hip and still see the optic.

The only way that you could get a proper cheek weld with that mount on a carry handle with the Aimpoint would be to use an addon cheekpeice.  Or you could just rest your chin on the the stock.

1.Way too high
2.Harder to achieve constant cheek weld

At least you get an uncluttered view instead of a face-full-of-front-sight-tower !!! [argue]

I personally like the optics on the handle.  Its the perfect elevation for me.

In fact, i went to the range a few weeks ago and found that my shooting greatly improved and shot real good between 300 & 350 yards using the aimpoint.

I use the A.R.M.S #22M68 wich allows for repeat zero.  It sits on top of the A.R.M.S. #2 mount
