My AR can shoot under 3-inch group at 100 yards using a cheap rifle scope (Leaper or BSA). Today I tried to use aimpoint M2 to shoot. The group size was much larger than that using a rifle scope. I know the red dot sight (1x) is good for CQB. I am wondering what is your group size (in average) at 100 yrds using an aimpoint.

A buddy and I was getting about 2-2 1/2 inch goups are 100 yards with the dot setting the lowest setting that you can get away with...it makes it mucho easier to see at that distance for accuracy....
