I wanted to know how the knowledgable members of this site would rate the quality of Redfield scopes,  the sportsmans guide is offering them for between $140-$180

I asked this same question about 2 mo. ago and the consensus seemed to be that Redfield's quality has gone way down in the last few years.  I got the impression I would be better off buying a Simmons.

I had several redfield scopes and each one was a problem I will never buy another.

For what its worth, I have one right now on my AR, and it seems to be a pretty nice scope. It holds its zero just fine, and its bright and clear.
