Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - EOTech Mount ????

After watching the board for several months I want the EO Tech 552(AA batteries).  I am not sure which ARMS mount to go with.  Will the 38EX work on my Bushmaster 16" A3 flattop??  Will the front sight be the correct height?  Thanks.

The Eotech does not require a mount.  It goes directly on top of the receiver.  It would work with the sleeve if you wanted, but it is not necessary and I don't think you will be able to see the irons through the Eotech that way.

The EoTech is designed to be mounted on a flat-top.  A weaver compatible mount is built into the bottom of the sight.  I have mine mounted on a custom DPMS M4 upper from CMMG.  I love it!  I am sure you will too!
