I've heard good things about the Pro-Optic scopes on TFL available from Adorama. Unfortunately, the one with the 45deg eyepiece is no longer listed on their site. IIRC, it was $110. The only have the straight one listed now for $100:

The one with the 45 deg eyepiece is the exact same scope that Creedmore sells under the Swift brand for $210. I can't offer any first hand experiences yet, however. One is supposed to be waiting for me under the Christmas tree, but I am somewhat nervous now that it is no longer listed. I believe I've heard the Hakko actually makes these scopes. Generally, their products seem to be pretty good - they typically sell to other manufacturers who rebrand with their name. Springfield Inc scopes are Hakko...
Another option that was recommended to me by several folks is a piece of Russian glass - the Yukon which was available at the time for $70+$12.50 shipping from http://www.opticstore.com.
I also can't give any 1st hand impressions of this scope, but the Russian optics, in general, seem to be very reasonably priced for what you get. Of course, there are much better scopes out there than these two, but they of course carry a much higher price tag as well.
