I have a gas block with a built in flip up sight. It uses AK type front sight posts. Using the normal AK pins, it works fine. However, the night sight bottoms out way too high, and I'm trying to find a solution to compensate for that with a rear sight.

The front sight set up (bottomed out):

The rear sight (topped out):

The sight alignment (red dot off):

The sight alignment (red dot on):

With the adjustable rear sight topped out, the POA is the tritium dot. I would like to get that type of alignment when it is bottomed out. The adjustment range is 0.12".

Any ideas?

Your RDS looks like it is 2 inches from the front sight ?

It is. I had it set up with a LER magnifier I borrowed when I sighted it in. Didn't want to move it until I can re sight it in since I'm using it as a reference to sight in the irons.
