Anyone had any experience using this model with night vision equipment? Does the 2X give more visual range/targeting with G3 night vision? Thanks, Resolved

It sucks.
The FOV is pathetic and NOT worth the paltry 2x magnification in any way.

1x AimPoints are great.
2x AimPoints suck bad, and should be avoided. The *concept* is fine, but the execution of the concept here was terrible.

If you need a scope, then get one (ACOG, Elcan, Leupold). The 2x was an abortive attempt to hybridize brilliant execution to produce something resembling a scope. But, it didn't work. A sight is a sight, & not a scope.

Bought one. Got it, looked through it, put it back in the box and sent it back. Worthless.

What everyone else said, it sucks...get the 2X ACOG if you want the magnification.

Thanks to all the members for the info... as usual, good information saving me a lot of time and trouble. I opted for the M2 no magnification, and set up my ACOG 4x32 for magnified targeting. Actually... it works real good and takes about 10 seconds (in the dark) to switch back out to the M2 for closer work thanks for ARMS throw levers. Again thanks for the good advice. RESOLVED
