Anyone see a problem with using a Colt Sporter 10rd 7.62X39  mag in an Armalite 5.56 lower?  It seems to fit when sliding it in slowly and it locks in place.  Won't pop right out whenb you hit the magazine release but you don't have to tug on it either to get it back out.  And yes my upper is in 7.62X39.

I had a 5.56 mag that did the same thing.  It was slightly expanded near the top.  If you have calipers measure that mag with other mags.  That might be the problem.
