has anybody tried these replacement bodies? Looking for feedback on reliability. Drop Free? Also, does anybody know if they will ship just bodies to CA. for replacing worn and non functional prebans?

They are a little sticky, although I only have well worn usgi mags to go by. Yes brownells will ship them as they are only mag parts.

Great, thanks, how about any other suppliers?,,,,,, any names or websites, with maybe usgi factory bodies for sale? If i remember right, Colt told me NO, to calif. I remember , that at one time there were quite a few suppliers, but i cant seem to find any now.

If you find any USGI bodies let me know! Some companys won't ship to CA even if its legal.
