Why they put off steel lip production is beyond me.  I'm waiting for those.

I bought 5 of the "hot lips" mags yesterday from Natchez.  The guy said that the steal lipped ones won't be out until after the first of the year.

What is a decent price for Steel Lips (25 round)?

I know I saw them somewhere (for around twice the price of Hot Lips I believe) -- will post the link once I find it.

The lowest I've seen them is $50, in one of the hundred other threads about 10/22 mags, someone mentioned seeing them for $40. Butler Creek hasn't started shipping them yet, so we are probably still seeing "pre-ban" mags floating around. Hopefully, when Butler Creek starts shipping them we'll see reasonable prices.
Based on the $20-$25 dollars I've seen the BC high caps going for, I'd expect to see steel lips for $5-10 dollars more, if they ever start shipping.

Are these 25 round mags?  The ad doesn't say and I'm worried they are only 10.  Anyone know?

WARNING!!!  ASPI Tactical is worse than Botach!  They are crooks and you probably won't get your order for several weeks if at all.  They won't answer emails or the phone.  The owner Mark will lie his ass off if you do get him on the phone..

Secondly, those mags are 10 rounders.

Ok so here's my question...I have some of the 10 round steel lip mags that I originally bought to convert my standard Hot Lip mags over to when they wore out.  I figured I could cut off the top 1/2 of the mags and graft on the steel lip top of the 10 rounder with some kind of epoxy.  Anybody else have this kind of thought and if so what kind of epoxy did you use?  With the AWB gone I'll keep the 10 round steel lip mags for parts if nothing else.

With the AWB dead is it now legal to purchase/own butler creek 25rd. mags for the 10/22 that have the words "For export only" stamped in the side? I've seen a couple at a show and they were also date stamped "9/94" I believe.

anybody find any steel lip 50 rounders yet???

I had a pre-ban ramline 50 round mag that was splitting at the seams.  I sent it back and they replaced it with a new 50 round mag.  It sucks.  I could only get in 47 rounds and the last 10 were denting the cases trying to load them.  It had 4 malfunction in the first 47 rounds.  I haven't shot it anymore since it is a POS.   I am waiting for the BC steel lips.

Cheaper Than Dirt is listing a "Condor" brand steel-lip 10/22 magazine for the same price as the Butler Creek Hot-Lips - anybody know anything about that brand?  The only steel-lip mags I've had any experience with were the Butler Creek ones...

ETA:  I just looked and couldn't find them on their website, but they were listed/pictured in the new catalog that arrived in the mail yesterday - 25 rounds, $29.97 each.

I might try PVC Cement (used for drain pipes. $2 at Walmart) . I've used it to repair quite a few different plastic parts around my house.

dunno if its my particular combination of rifle/mags, but  I use a single stack butler creek 25 rd. , ramline 30 rd and 50 rd and never had any issues.

I did once find a 50 rd that had split down the seams in a clearance/return bin right after the ban, glued it with superglue and no problems.
