Read on forums online, somebody is planning welding an AK 75-Drum to a AR mag towers to make a drum for 7.62 AR. Is that legal to modify one hi-cap mag to fit another weapon because the AWB sunset? Seems a bit fishy.

I guest my question is that is modifying one hi-cap mag for use in another weapon legal now or it's still forbid by federal regulation?

You can do anything you want to your magazines now, as long as you live in a "free" state. You can even try to make your Glock mags fit your Beretta if you want. No federal laws on it any more......

Somebody should make a 1000 round novelty mag out of a 50 cal ammo can with a cut up 20-round welded on top to attach it to your AR, just to piss off Feinstein.
