they're orlites...not to be a dick but...who cares? they are cheap and farely cheesy anyways...typically rebuilding is left to USGI mags

In the mag FAQ they list Orlites in the second Best catigory......

Unless you have a large number of them (over 20 or something) I can't see a reason to mess with refinishing them. There are now so many good mags available NIW for 12 dollars or less. The Mag FAQ lists Orlites at the bottom of the acceptable mag rankings. Someone was selling them on the EE for 5 bucks a pop last week.

USGI Brit/singapore Steel Thermold Orlite the rest arnt even worth mentioning |

Refinishing Orlites is like having a $99 paint job put on a rusty Ford Pinto. Why bother?

HEY! I have a bunch of Orlites, they work fine and always have. Of all the ones I have bought only 1 has ever failed and it just needed a spring.
