Anyone interested in these they are NEW and the ultimate quality.
These are made by HK and are the holy Grail for M16 mags. Try to find these!!! $60.00 each Until September 13th only available to FFL/LEO If the AWB happens then open for all. Bryan Pritchard 770-529-1442 |

You should definitely post this in the Equipment Exchange, because your not allowed to post adds in the technical forums.
Oh, and welcome to the site! |
what a rip $60 a piece I can get 3 NIW Labelle Teflons for that price
Sure you can........But remember in 2001 I sold 42 Colt M16's on Subguns 20 M16A1 carbines for $6200.00 each and 22 614's for $5700.00 THREE years ago try to buy them for that now.
You can buy a Chevrolet or a Porche So what would you pay? Why dont you buy all of them and Ill give you a much better price I have well lets say a bunch Bryan Pritchard |
you are comparing Machine guns which havent been made for civilians in over 18 years to HK mags which are still made today. Apples to Oranges |
I understand.....been doing this a long time.
But like anything else rarity dictates price. These Mags are NOT available from Hk and are hard to get as well. Whats a fair price then? HK's price is close to $40.00 each LE ONLY Bryan Pritchard |
well I would never buy one just because of the HK name, Fair unbiased price I would say would be between $40-$50 a piece |
Ok fair $50.00 each plus shipping
As far as Hk's name on it in a war situation in Iraq etc. these mags are the best their is. In this situation the BEST makes a difference. THese are different and in demand. I have already sold about 30 at $50 to $60.00 each. Bryan |
Didnt the Army ship alot of those "new" mags back because floor plates kept slipping off,"HK" quality,Besides the country they come from dont support us on the war on terror or our right to bear arms so I wont support them.Singapore steel mags with a magpul follower is plenty reliable for a fraction of the cost...That price is eaqual to a 5 pack of I think better mags...besides the design is the same from the aluminums..wich makeks springs and followers comp[atable.Besides I think the teflon impregnated polymer follwer from mag pul is every bit as smooth, reliable and durable as an H&K mag with chrome follower..that mag is a money pit as evident for what they charge cops for them..us $40 bucks fine but for cops they should be cheaper...oh well a profit no matter what should be that companys motto
So I cant get these mags thru Crane, because they are out, yet can buy them here. What a Concept
I don't see how these are better than the USGI's currently available for $20. After the ban the prices will drop a bit more.
They aren't. But why pass up the opportunity to buy mags for $60????
I'll stick with USGI upgraded with that new MagPull anti-tilt follower.
These are the mags that the Marine Corps has been having trouble with the base plates falling off and the followers rusting.
Quit saying that. These mags are Wonderful. Even the baby Jesus likes them best! |
+1 |
This is a novelty for the price.
I have access to 2 of such mags that I use from time to time. They are no better or worse than used older USI mags. They are heavier and uses a steel follower. My friends gets them at the gun shows for about $40-45 each. |
Folowers should be chrome plated. And you need LEO letter head to get em right?
You dont need a LEO letter to buy these. FFL or LE can buy now anyone can buy after September 13 if the AWB crumbles.
I can tell you I dont know who says the Hk mags are falling apart first hand info from SF guys in IRAQ say otherwise. Bryan |
You really want to impress me get me some of the OKay HR mags. When your packing 15-20 mags, you need the saved weight of the OK mags.
Weight is one thing.Reliability is another
If you cant hump 20 mags or either you shouldnt be right? :) Bryan |
20 magsThats what I have for a load out and its only a 5 lb evenly distributed increase over the 20 for aluminum mags making may ammo load 25lbs not counting the rifle. That with my water and whole set up comes out to 85lbs and thats with carrying every thing important possible on my gear set up.Im no mucle man but Im in decent shape for 5' 11" 250.Hell the way I figure I used to weigh 325 so if I could carry that Im just about adding to my original weight and now being lighter and a bit stronger and having a place to shoot on a big piece of private land I can use my gear more.Look at what the real guys load out to for weight..some times well over 100lbs but those guys are in great shape and real strong and can handle the weight..any way 5 more pounds on ammo is a small sacrifice for more reliability...just do what I did got lighter, stronger and now can cary my shit around.oh yea my rifle 8.9 loaded with a steel mag just 4 ounces over a full size and with my aimpoint attached,so 90 lbs in all, hell if I can drop 10 more pounds Ill be set.

yeah, and he's still trying to sell them for $60 i see...
he's got an ad in EE for $60 and someone calls him out on it- supplies a link to subguns.net where he is selling them for $50. his response was something like "yeah, $50" and it still says $60 up at the top. I'm not trying to bust your balls. i understand that it's easy to make money from a name and i don't blame you for trying to turn a profit. you are insulting people's intelligence though by thinking that they would think this was a great deal based on "rarity" and name alone. |
Bryan has a low post count here.
He is obviously not familiar with this board or its system of operation. What's the use of busting his balls? Let him figue out how to edit posts etc. |
If you are trying to help me understand something, you've wasted your time. If you are just trying to reiterate what I said so that someone might understand better, good.
I'm not trying to bust his balls. I think I said that already. If your response was not directed towards me, then we are on the same page. |

USSOCOM has ordred TONS of these mags so they must be working for somebody. As a matter of fact, HK will be doing nothing but working to fill that order for several months. As far as Germany not supporting the U.S. in OIF, HK is owned by two British investors. No agenda here, just letting some facts be known.
Hey, that's great then. I didn't know any of that. That's REALLY cool actually. The United States and Great Britain are going to own the world. Every country in the world would get along just fine if they were run like our country even though it's full of problems and idiots.
After that order is delivered we should be able to get them for $30 and USGI for $15. cool. |
H&K was purchased by British Aerospace Ltd through their subsidiary, Royal Ordnance, in 1991. Wasn't made official until April, 1992. |
they aren't. soon you will be able to get brand new ones for less than that |
Not only that; but the Magpul follower won't rust out. |
I thought the H&K mags follower was hard chromed and could not rust.
It is hard chromed; but from what I've heard, it is still rusting out in a maritime environment.
The followers do indeed rust. I'll post pics as soon as I unload mine. Might not be today, as its my only day off in almost a month, and I wanna enjoy it by being lazy.

Sounds like a shitty way to do biz, I will keep the usgi. Hk don't mean shit to me.
Well, cuz I'm not a window licker, that's why? |
Holy Shitballs, I can finally buy HK mags for my AR! I'll hang them on the shelf next to my hk pencils and pen and coffee cups and pins and bumper stickers and all my other HK swag!
If I sleep with my hk ar-mags, will they rust if I wet the bed? |
Let's start a H&K magazine museum.
The lines will run around the building. |
USGI has always worked just fine for me. And these have been heavily used ones I've upgraded on my own with new springs and modern followers. If these work without a hitch, the new ones will be just fine. And the fact I will be able to get new ones for what I paid for used ones will be even better.
HK makes good mags, but they aren't $40 better than USGI. Good enough is good enough. The HK mags might give longer service and not be as prone to getting dented, but hell, I could replace my USGI mags with brand new USGI mags if I ever need to do so and still come out $20 ahead per mag. Just because it has an HK label on it doesn't make me all moist. -CH |

These are VERY nice mags! Thank you for the lightning fast fulfillment of my order!! Sincerely, Sean |
Great! I look forward to receiving mine. |
For me to actually pay for a 30 round magazine would be a waste of money, no matter who makes it. Ive already collected more magazines than I could ever use, I guess if the army starts buying HK mags Ill end up with a few but otherwise I have no need for them.
Hey there BPRITCHARD, great prices for a wonderful product! I sent in my $600 for 10 mags, hope they get here soon... ht
The Army ALREADY has Hk M4 mags Special Forces Green Berets etc.
Bryan |
no need to be assholes.
HK mags of the AR type are no more rediculously overpriced than their regular USP mags. Buy them, bitch about it or just fucking get over it. slamming folks who want to make a whopping 10$ profit concerns me not. name one item that you own that SOMEONE didn't make 10$ profit on... money is what makes the world go round folks. |
